I feel fortunate that so many of my family lines loved photography, right down to present day. The Hegwoods, Beardens, Keowns and Lakes (to mention a few) all relished taking photos, sitting for photos and sharing them. As paper and film images are fragile, being vulnerable to decay and catastrophe, I find it reassuring to be able to share and preserve the photos I have (some taken over a hundred years ago) of family and friends on Findagrave. You are welcome to use them in your own research and post them on other genealogy sites. (Any photos described as "courtesy of" are not part of my personal family's collection and would require permission of the original owners.)
