While the Find A Grave experience is rather new to me, my wife and I have been into our family genealogy for over 35 years. We have our families back into the early 1700's and one into the mid-1600's.

Being born and raised in the Livingston/LaSalle County, Illinois area, we are quite familiar with the residents of the area. When you grow up in a village of 500, you know all of the people, their relatives and most of their dogs and cats. All of the sites I have created or contributed to, are family members or families of friends and neighbors. My goal is to provide full "relationship" information on the sites and am not seeking a large number of sites.

Now that the retirement years are here, this genealogy site makes it easy to insure that all of those past names and faces that we remember are documented out there in this area called cyberspace.
