Other surnames that are of interest are Winget, Cunningham, Flannegin, Lawrence, Dodds, Cherry, Jones, Cochrane, Cratty, and others from the Delaware County Ohio area from 1800 to 1850. I am interested in learning and making connections through my James Dean and Hannah Cunningham Dean from Highland, Franklin, and Delaware Counties in Ohio. They spend the majority of their time in Ostrander Ohio as this is where my James Dean is buried. James comes from PA born in 1772, and Hannah Cunningham was born in Ireland around 1782. Very little is known about them. Hannah Cunningham Dean made the trek to Monroe county Iowa with her two sons William A Dean, and Robert Ross Dean in 1856. Possibly others made this trek as well. I see that some Winget's from the Ostrander Ohio area went to Keokuk Iowa around the same time. Hannah Cunningham Dean passes in 1858 and is buried in Oakview Cemetery Monroe County Iowa.
