Caught the ancestry bug later in life so am in a steep learning curve. Retied and have the time to now add the muscle to the bones. Am particularly interested in 5, small rural cemeteries where there are distant relatives. Visited 3 of them in Missouri in 2021 and plan on future trips to visit one in Kentucky and one in Virigina. Learned how to clean and restore memorials. The lack of attention to these cemeteries is disturbing.
Family names of primary interest are Pitts, Werges, Luedersen, Simms, Ellis, Schatz, and Oehler.
