I have been doing genealogy since a teenager and called "the youngest researcher ever seen" when I made my rounds at the local libraries. I did DNA just a few years ago and have been using it to confirm my lines.

I have recently learned WHY so many choose to be ANONYMOUS in their work on trees--some do it to protect themselves and their living relatives from ne'er do wells or others who would stalk them or threaten them and their loved ones. Some choose to be anonymous so THEY can threaten others... acting like road warriors with road rage and intimidating and challenging others who are actively searching rather than be polite and attempt to teach others or collaborate on shared lines.

I combat this mentality by remaining open to collaboration and I seek only to learn and to become a better researcher. I choose to be public with my name and my genealogy and my DNA. My username IS my name.

In my PROFESSIONAL life, I am a QMHP...a Qualified Mental Health Professional. I seek understanding and compassion for all.

If you need a genealogy or a DNA question answered, I am HAPPY to help.

Presently, I am working daily on Geni and Wikitree. I visit FamilySearch occasionally.
I strive for a DNA proved tree.

Genealogy is a hobby.
Family is EVERYTHING.
