I got involved with family history when my now deceased Aunt Karen let me digitize family records and photographs. She had inherited memorabilia from both sides of the family. I do tend to get off on tangents, connecting extended family. It is like doing a puzzle and finding missing links. I figure that even if the information I put in isn't directly related to me , it might help someone else on their own quest to do family history work.
