I am the last child of William (Bill) Frank Hatzenbehler, Sr., born 1926, and Gladyce Marie (maiden name withheld), born 1911.
I was born in 1955. Little sister of Eric Jon Hatzenbehler, born 1952, and William (Bill) Frank Hatzenbehler, Jr., born 1949, now deceased. I am a grandchild of Frank John Hatzenbehler, born 1898 in Odessa, which was then part of Russia, and Grace Irene Stott. Grandma Grace remarried after an industrial accident killed Grandpa in 1934. She married a family friend of Grandpa's, and became Grace I. Flynn. Old Flynn was a WWI Veteran. He finished raising my father. My father worked with asbestos as a plasterer in the post-WWII housing boom, and died before age 39 of a horrible lung cancer.
(Grandpa had a brother, Adam Joseph Hatzenbehler, who married late in life, in Sacramento. Adam had no children, as far as I know.)
Again, as far as I know, my brother Eric has no children. I also have no children.
My brother Bill, who died in 2017, has one daughter and one grandson. For the sake of that boy, I'd like to plug us into the Hatz... geneology on Ancestry dot com. Eric and I are testing in 23 & Me as well.
