I am a descendant of the Biggs line who emigrated from Southampton, Hampshire, England in the 1600's and settled in the Colony of Virginia. This line can be traced back to Edward Biggs of England, born in the late 1400's.

I'm also interested in the Makemson line. The Revolutionary War Patriot Thomas Makemson is my 4th great-grandfather. I'm the WikiTree profile Manager for Thomas Makemson and for his grandson, the notable William Knight Makemson. WK Makemson was a lawyer, public servant, politician, author, and soldier.

I was born and raised a Texan, living 60 years in the Houston area; 50 in SE Houston and the last ten years in the far NW. I volunteer to take FAG pictures in cemeteries local to the NW Houston area in Harris County.
