My mother & I started doing genealogy in 1988. My maternal line, Pomeranian Germans, came to Wisconsin in the late 1800's and mostly stayed tidily in 3 neighboring counties. However my paternal lines arrived prior to the Revolutionary War and have migrated across the country. 2 lines came in through Canada. It has been an adventure. I'm still discovering new things!
