Bio

I first began visiting the Find a Grave website as a non-member, simply to view additional information & photos of family members within my own Ancestry family tree.

Upon noticing that many of my ancestors memorials had not yet been entered into Find a Grave, (and many of the entered memorials had no graves photos), I became a member, and began visiting cemeteries to primarily photograph gravestones for my own Ancestry family tree.

Then one day the thought came to mind, that since I was already in a cemetery, why not become a photo volunteer for Find a Grave, and help to fulfill as many photo requests as I could.

Over time, the thrill of the hunt to find & photograph gravestones to fulfill photo requests, became more fun & rewarding to me, than finding gravestones to photograph for my own family tree!!!

Visiting cemeteries and photographing gravestones, has become my #1 hobby passion during the months of late April through late November, and any day in between when Mother Nature permits it.

My long term goal is to reduce and keep the photo request count of all the local cemeteries in my area to the minimum, (and in some smaller cemeteries, photograph all of the gravestones).

Feel free to use any of my photos that I have uploaded for your own personal use, (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF USING MY PHOTOS FOR "NON-DECEASED" PERSONS), or as permitted within any of the "Ancestry owned websites" (such as Find a Grave). Please read and follow the guideline rules and recommendations about photo usage in ancestry.com and findagrave.com (or any other website that you may be using).

If you see a Find a Grave memorial that I have created, and the memorial is of one of your ancestors, (but not one of my own ancestors), and you'd like to manage it, simply communicate with me through a message or email, and I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you. (During this communication process, we may discover that we are related)!!

IMPORTANT NOTE TO FELLOW MEMBERS & CONTRIBUTORS WHO MANAGE & CREATE MEMORIOLS:
For women married in the province of Quebec, Canada prior to, and after April 2, 1981, please visit the Quebec Minister of Justice website (listed below), concerning maiden names & married names. This will help guide you to know when you should add the husband's family name to memorials of women married in Quebec, Canada.
