On my father's side I am researching Lowrances from Tillamook County Oregon. They were in Lake City Kansas in 1873 and in Hebo/Cloverdale , OR by 1880. Frederick Sydney Lowrance is descended from Johannes Lorentz and Margaretha Heiliger who emigrated from Germany settling in NJ about 1710.
Also researching Gindhart & Walter/Wolter from Buxton, Washington County, Oregon. Emigrated from Germany in 1890's.
On my mother's side, I research Prince Edward Island MacDougall and MacQuarrie families. Little known about their years in Scotland before emigrating in mid 1800's.
