My love of family history came from my mother. My mother was a genealogy buff and created some very detailed family history using a typewriter and a camera. She and my grandmother spent a lot of years going through old cemeteries. My grandma, who died in 1994, would be amazed at how much information is now online at the click of a button! It's my joy to begin the transfer of my mother's extensive records from 3-ring binders into a genealogy database and to the Find A Grave site. My mother, who is alive and well at 91, will be helping. I've always been a good detective and have begun tackling some of the older photo requests for other members. I'm having so much fun I'm not getting anything else done!
