I'm sure I came across this site much the same way that most of you have.. genealogy research. I think that it's amazing that we all have this, all thanks to people volunteering their time and being so willing to help. I hope to be able to contribute also, even if only on a small scale by doing some cemetery walks of my own, and answering photo requests.

I like to leave flowers/tokens for people. I can't help but hope that their loved ones see them, and it brings them happiness to know that their family member or friend was thought of. If I post the same flowers/tokens to a memorial during return visits, it is not on purpose. My longterm memory is like a steel bear trap =] ..but my short term memory is pretty awful!
If you have a second, please leave a flower for my beautiful sister, Christi

Direct line Family names that I am researching (grandparent, great grandparent, and so on) include:
Bodkin/Botkin, Boggs, Brassington, Campbell, Canning,
Charlleen, Edgar, Fischer/Fisher, Funderwhite, Glaub, Gloster, Graff, Greenawalt/Grunewald (+ other variations), Hagenbuch, Hazel, Hites, Hittel/Hittle, Jacobs, Kocyan, Lewis, McIntosh, McNabb, Mellen, Pearce, Portasi, Priest, Reinhardt, Ricketts, Schommer, Shelatz, Shimer, Snyder, Stansbury, Tingley, West, and Wylie.. to name 'just a few!'

I'm pretty easy to get along with, it usually takes a lot to upset me. One thing about find a grave that I do not like is when people post death certificates to memorials. I think it is wrong and in horrible taste. Sure, they're easy enough to find on sites such as Ancestry. They can be a very valuable source of information, but I feel that they should stay on sites like Ancestry, and not be uploaded on here. One of those just because you can, DOES NOT mean that you should situations. It dishonors the deceased and their family members. Anyway, just my 2 cents there.

*~☆"I carry your heart with me, I carry it in my heart. I am never without it, anywhere I go you go, my dear Christi."*~☆ ♡ Quoted from an E.E. Cummings poem, and tattooed on my left forearm in honor of my sister.
*~☆"What a beautiful difference one single life made."☆~* ♡

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ I just want to say thank you to so many of you on here, for all of the kindness and love that you show. At times it brings tears to my eyes, in the best possible way. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
