Bio

You have my permission to use any picture that I take as I have put it on this website for you and others to use.

Genealogy has become a hobby of mine. After I had a heart attack and open heart surgery I had to find new outlets of interests. My husband and I have found that he and I both enjoy walking and I needed to try to walk more to improve my health. We found that while we walked we could be having an adventure too. One of those adventures became walking around in graveyards and reading the tombstones while there. That progressed to taking our phone with us, which had a camera on it, and taking a few pictures of graves for family and friends or for our own interests. Soon we decided to try to take a few pictures per other people's requests too. We now enjoy going to a new graveyard and looking around to see if we can find a grave that someone wants a photo of. I have found the benches that families put up in graveyards very helpful to me as my damaged heart often causes makes me to seek a place to rest.

The photos we take are for other people to use and enjoy and we give them permission to do that. We do wish that every grave was in pristine condition with no crabgrass, dirt, old flowers, toys or a fire ant mound on it but as I said, I can't tend or stage these graves, I can just take a picture of it as it is. While searching for a grave my husband and I often go in a different direction. My husband is in good health and has even picked up a tombstone that was broken and face down in the dirt, held his camera under it and snapped a picture. Have I told you that he was superman? Well since I had the heart attack and surgery, I found out that he must indeed be superman because he quickly became that to me. We do still have a lot of fun together especially now that life had a way of letting us know how precious it was and how quickly it could change.

Blessings to you all and may your family tree search be rewarding and filled with memories.
