I am a proud descendant of relatives who built and protected the foundation of this country. After growing up outside Nichols NY, I've become very interested in the previous 5 generations of Bixby who called Bradford County PA or Tioga County NY home. Since retiring I've had an opportunity to research and visit the same places where the original 4 generations of Bixby farmed the land in Topsfield, MA, Thompson, CT and Windsor MA. I can say with no doubt and no shame that my family toiled and worked with no complaint or envy to insure that each generation was better off than the one before. Its true in my case and I suspect its true in yours. It saddens me to see politicians portray this hard work and generational progress in some other way to get elected and tear down all that my kin and I hold so dear. Please join in protecting the heritage and tradition of the workman and his family. Freedom is not at all free and, more government interference and regulation is not the solution.
