Bio

My name is Danny Landry. I have been active in the genealogical community since 1976. I became interested as a child hearing the many stories from my parents, aunts and uncles.

My heritage is mostly European but trace from several ethic groups which rivals throughout history. My fathers family is Acadian with Quebecois (Catholic) and Yankee English (Protestant).

My mothers family was Swedish and English. My Swedish grandfather came to America with his brother when he was only 16. Settled in Montreal where he married my English grandmother.

Despite the cultural and religious differences I hardly ever remember any issues that created life long problems.

I am always curious to find other family member that are able to add onto my information as well as correct any any errors that have slipped into my research.
