I love connections and accuracy, but I also understand that data gets really cloudy and complicated after about 6 generations. Heck, it gets complicated in one generation!
My family is a bunch of tough Missourians by way of Tennessee, and South Carolina prior to that. But unfortunately, we don't know much about us before 1790, except for a branch or two. They served their country, and struggled at the bottom of the pile to make it what it is today. I respect them for the hardships that they endured, and pay homage by searching for the truth in compiling data and pictures that tell their stories - sometimes satisfying, and sometimes very sobering.
