I first discovered FindAGrave when looking for a friend's grave some time ago. I had visited her grave in the mid '70s but have never been able to make the long journey back. Finding it here brought solace and an opportunity to pay my respects. Then I came back in 2018 because of my parents and began creating memorials that didn't yet exist for family, friends, and others. As a contributor I hope to pay it forward and help others find the final resting places of their friends or loved ones.

If you'd like a memorial transferred to you, even if it's outside of the FindAGrave guidelines, please click on the "Suggest Edits" tab of the memorial then enter your request and relationship in the "Suggest other corrections" area. If the request is outside of the guidelines and it's not a family member or close friend of mine, I'm open to transferring management. In general I think it's more fitting for someone who knew the person to manage the memorial whenever possible.
