Bio

Hello to all! My name is Troy, and I live and work in Muncie, Indiana. I'm married with three daughters in total, two grand-daughters, and have all girl pets. It's an all girl world for me! I've always been interested in genealogy, ancestry, and just history in general. My four grandparents and ancestors hail from Economy and Russiaville, Indiana on my father's side (Clark, Worth, Morrison, Dick and Rishel respectively). And the greater Casey and Lincoln County, Kentucky areas on my mother's side (Hamilton, Emerson, Wall and Denny respectively). As well as New Castle, Indiana in more recent times. I mainly post a lot of obits and pics, as I have a treasure trove of family photos I inherited from my grandparents going back to 1885. I feel as though I've been entrusted with safeguarding and telling my families history for future generations to come. With that being said, and as I age myself, I feel it's time to get these old pictures, obits, etc., out into the world, and this is the perfect format for doing just that. I believe that Find a Grave is more than just a great ancestry site that's free. It's like Facebook (minus the negative aspects) for those that are no longer with us. Eventually, our ancestors (including ourselves) will be forgotten. But through the advent of this site, their memory and time spent here on Earth, will live on forever.
