I'm Thomas Dwane DuBose, (Tommy) son of Thomas Wiley DuBose and Imogene Due DuBose (Jean). My father's parents were Joseph E. (Buddy) DuBose and Osa Lovett DuBose. They owned DuBose Grocery and Garage in Apple Springs, Texas from about 1933 to 1970 when my father took over and ran the family business until around 1994 when he moved the business to Lufkin, Texas to what was known as DuBose Transmissions off Hwy 69 and loop 287. My Mother's parents were Arthur L. Due and Addis Young Due. My grandfather Due was a farmer and worked in the logging industry for years. My grandmother Due raised 9 Children and was busy being a mother. She also worked for the Apple Springs School Cafeteria for years and and worked for my Mother at DuBose Grocery in Apple Springs, Texas as well. I myself was born in Lufkin, Texas on September 17, 1960. I grew up and lived in Apple Springs, Texas from the age of 10 until i was 25 years of age then moved away after completing college at Stephen F. Austin University and marriage. I have one younger brother Larry Dean DuBose, July 19, 1963. I also have two children Adam Thomas Lively DuBose born May 19, 1987 and Ashlan TaraAnn DuBose Glaze, born May 17, 1989. I was raised in Apple Springs, Texas and moved away in 1986. I currently reside in Pflugerville, Texas near Austin, Texas. Most of my family is buried in Mount Zion Cemetery and Bennett Cemetery in Trinity County, Texas, USA.
