I started questioning and researching my family history/genealogy in 1981 when I was 15 years old. I have gathered so much information from older family members who have long passed on. I have collected and inherited family documents, memorabilia, and photos along the way and have quite an archive. The days of microfilm and books have mostly given way to digital and internet searches, which come with good and bad, but ultimately have led to greater discoveries and connections with far-away libraries, family members and information. While I graduated from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky in Accounting and hold an MBA from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, I look forward to my retirement some day when I can just travel and research more of my family lineage.
