To sit and reminisce, I feel connected and I love to look at the graves, particularly the gothic architecture of some.
I have worked on my own family tree for 15 years so know everything there is to know about family history and how a photo of a beloved/ancestor's grave/marker/stone can mean so much.
Sometimes, there are no headstones, but just knowing where they are buried is also nice and reassuring.
I have many ancestors who had 'paupers' graves and I feel no shame in that.
