I have been a keen family historian for decades now. Since retiring, I have much more time to indulge my passion, hence my presence on this site. I have also had a bit of a fascination with cemeteries since I was a young girl, with Grafton's main cemetery at the time being at the end of my street (Villiers) and funeral processions driving past almost every day. My paternal grandmother who lived next door visited her parents' graves regularly so I was fairly familiar with certain sections of it.

My ancestors from both sides came to settle in Grafton very early. My Lollback relatives arrived from Käfertal, Germany in 1853 and most other branches of the family well before 1900. My main interests are adding information and inserting family connections to my family, extended family and close family friends. Those families include the surnames Landenberger, Lollback, Manning, Higham, Thompson, Kübler, Streiner, Barnier, Niland, Crowley, Sexton, Towers, Dwyer, Korn, Wallbank.
