From Central Victoria, Australia, I am currently in the process of discovering my genetic roots by researching my birth family. At present I am particularly interested in the families of my 3 x great grandparents, William TITUS (1794-1860) and Hannah DOTY (1800-1885) both from the village of West Chester in Westchester County, New York, USA. Their son, John Augustus TITUS (1822-1875) emigrated to Australia in 1852, living and mining for gold in the small Central Victorian town of Tarnagulla.
