I am enjoying following the trails that our families have created. These trails began with word-of-mouth and has been passed down through generations. My family includes: Day, Lawler, Childress, Kessinger, Miles and Clemons/Clements. I have had the pleasure to speak with many new family members and enjoy sharing of our family history. My husbands family includes: Thompson, Williams, Alvey, Pierce, and Woosley. My husbands family is buried in other states as well as this area. His family migrated from St Marys, MD with families of "Maryland Catholics".

My family has lived in Cub Run, Hart County, Kentucky USA for at least 6 generations. My gggrandfathers, ggrandfathers, grandfathers and father and mother families gravesites are located close to my home. I was blessed to have known most of my ggrandfathers and ggrandmothers, grandparents and parents, as well as other relatives. My husband knew his parents and one grandparent. His family is located in Forks, Edmonson Co. KY
