Gordon Boyd and his wife Sharon live in Saratoga Springs NY. He is chair of Bethesda Episcopal Church's Building Committee and co-chair of the Capital Campaign. He is also President of Mercy House, a nonprofit developing housing for homeless people. Boyd is a former policy analyst for the State Legislature. He founded and led an energy brokerage business that serves municipal and business customers across New York State. He also served as a religious volunteer at Mt. McGregor Correctional Facility. He is a father and grandfather, and sings in the Bethesda choir.
