Bio

As a teenager I was given a document outlining a lineage of Gott ancestors from a grandparent back to Charles Gott who came to Massachusetts in 1630. This was the seed that started the genealogy curiosity that has only grown over the past decades. Now retired, it, along with the history of the times gone by, is my hobby of primary interest. Maine surnames of interest are: Reed, Rhodes, Gott, Quimby, Gilley, Norwood, Milliken, Joyce, Overlock, Black, Richardson, Davis, Clay and Candage, located in areas from Washington/Rockport to Deer Isle/Blue Hill, Bucksport and "down east" to Tremont.
