Several years ago, I realized that it was important to honor the lives of those that came before us and began my journey as my family's historian. I took the files I had created manually many decades ago and digitized my family tree. It's been an exciting journey of lessons, wrong trees, cold-calling and brick walls. I revel in the discovery of records that prove family lore or in contacting an unknown cousin (of any degree).
