I set sail on my genealogy journey over 31yrs ago by me visiting my 4th cousin who was a decorated Vietnam era vet. He had given me information on my dad side of the family over the years, I just went with the flow find this and that out. Just here 9yrs ago I lost my dad and wanted to give up on it.

One day back in the spring of June 2016 there was something inside of me that wanted to visit the local cemeteries where I had family in and start to take care of them. In just 8yrs I have touch 252 of my family headstones in 20 cemeteries in 5 counties (Lapeer, Sanilac, St. Clair, Oakland, Genesee) from my dad to my 4th great grandparents to my aunts and uncles to my 3 great aunts and uncles to my 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th cousins. I get to touch all my great's grandparents etc headstones where all my English, German, Irish, Russian, Scottish that makes up all my DNA. There all my family that has gone before me, but I make sure their ALL cared for. One day I hope to pass everything on to the younger generation.

All my family were farmers to labors and my 10th great grandfather all the to my 14th cousins they all were Ordained Ministers and now I'm 39th minister...

Family genealogy has been fun you learn a lot about who is who and what is what. God Bless
