Bio

I was born in Okmulgee, Okla. and lived on a farm in Boynton,Okla. for the first five years of my life with my parents and my father's parents. I was the apple in my Grandfather Sager's eye and I loved him dearly. I was his shadow and he took me everywhere with him. He was a farmer and a jolly German man. I used to sit in front of the heater with him early morning and listen to the farm reports and drink coffee and soaky biscuit. I was also very fond of my Grandmother Sager, she allowed me to help her cook in the pantry on a stool, since I was too short to reach the counter, and she told me alot of stories about my ancestors from Germany, The Sager's. She always said I looked and acted like my Aunt Bert, who was my Grandpa's sister, then passed on. That was what got me started in my quest for researching my ancestors. Granny always made everyone sound so colorful and alive. Now some 40 years after my Grandfather's death I am still searching and discoving more and more everyday about where we started.
