My children and husband are direct descendants of Dr. Dan Beach Bradley , Sarah Blachly Bradley , Sarah Adorna Bradley Cheek , Dr. Marion Alonzo Cheek , Herbert Clifford Cheek and Lucy Wilcox Cheek . We had visited their gravesites in Bangkok Cemetery and in Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland California . We met Thai people who studied the life and works of Dr. Dan Beach Bradley. We visited the former Bradley compound inside the base of the Royal Thai Navy . We visited Chiang Mai , walked across the bridge that replaced the wooden (teak) bridge that Dr. Marion Cheek built . We visited the location where Dr. Cheek built a three-storey mansion for his wife Sarah Adorna and their children . We also visited the church building in Chiang Mai that Dr. Cheek built from the teakwood from his lumber mill ordered by the church's founder , Reverend Daniel McGilvary . The church still stands today and it is called "The First Christian Church". We were also welcomed by the faculty and staff of Dara Academy , the school founded by Sophia Royce Bradley McGilvary . We had visited the archives of Payap University in Chiang Mai for papers about the Bradley's . We had visited the archives of Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio and read some of the diaries of Dr. Dan Beach Bradley. We had visited the Bangkok Christian Hospital where a building was named "Moh Bradley Building" . We also visited Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan, known in short as Wat Prayun , and the Khao Mo also known as "Turtle Mountain Temple" because it has turtles in its pond. The first surgery in Siam happened in 1836 at Khao Mo , with Dr. Dan Beach Bradley as the surgeon.

We had met the Printing Association in Thailand whose members honor Dr. Bradley every June 3rd . Every June 23, Dr. Dan Beach Bradley's life and works are commemorated at his gravesite in the Bangkok Protestant Cemetery .

On June 23, 2023 , it will be Dr. Bradley's 150th death anniversary . Descendants of Dr. Bradley are invited to attend the ceremony morning of June 23, 2023 .
