It all started with my Norwegian roots. From a young age, my parents instilled in me a love for my ancestors and doing genealogy. With my twin sister and I being the youngest in our family, we would often spend summer vacations going through cemeteries with our parents in the midwest and finding relatives' headstones. Later, we were able to visit Norway and the family farms there where some of our ancestors were born. I don't know what it is, but it really is amazing to be able to connect with people this way. Now, I primarily use Family Search, Ancestry, and Find A Grave in my effort to bring family members back together [on 'paper']. Each platform has proven invaluable and I try to be very careful and thorough as I go through documents and profiles to make sure that information I submit is correct.
