Recording and preserving the stories of those who have come before us is a deep and personal commitment for me -- and the opportunity to get to know my ancestors (direct and indirect and even distant) through historic records is a real joy!

For other family members who are working on genealogical research, I am always happy to exchange stories and to share what I've learned. You are welcome to contact me through Find a Grave.

I am also grateful to every volunteer who has made Find a Grave the tremendous resource it has become -- a place for the celebration of life, remembrances for those who has past into eternity, and an outstanding genealogical research tool.

For all those who share in managing memorials, I am thankful for every effort to accurately, and with compassion and respect, produce biographical information as a tribute to the person represented by any marker and Find a Grave memorial. In remembrance of these people, and in support of those who are searching for family information, my goal is to connect memorials for family members, to add to those where memorials are missing, and to share something of their life histories. In addition to updating the memorials I manage directly, I am grateful to all those who have helped update memorials in their care with suggested edits. In addition to other details, I also do my best to contribute with transcriptions of the information on the grave markers.

If I am managing a memorial for a member of your family (not part of my own family tree), and you would like to manage that memorial, please let me know. It's rare that I take on a memorial for a person outside my own family, but do now and again as I try to help develop those records further so that "true" family connections (biological or by adoption) are more likely to be discovered by other family members. I am delighted to assist with transfer, and believe memorials should first be placed in the care of family whenever possible.

I welcome your suggestions for edits and the addition of other important historical information and photos, and am delighted to be part of this genealogical community!
