Our family still owns the same land which Catherine Pugh Myers settled on in 1857 when they moved to Texas from Hardeman County, Bolivar, Tennessee. They moved here with the Denny family who owned the land next to them in Tennessee. I grew up on the stories of the Myers family. Most of the Myers' in Titus County area buried in the Lone Star Cemetery.
