I started researching my family tree in about 2010, when I inherited some old diaries and photographs from my mother, (who had inherited a lot of them from my grandparents).
The Find-A-Grave entries for the USA helped me find relatives who had emigrated in the past and even find some living relatives, so I am indebted to those volunteers who are recording inscriptions.
This prompted me to beginning recording inscriptions in the hope it would help others and to record inscriptions before they are lost to weather erosion.
