I was born William Christopher O'Neal in Columbus, GA to William Edward O'Neal and Emily Barbara Whitley O'Neal. My paternal grandparents were Homer Joseph and Ruth Amy Crauswell. My maternal grandparents were Leonard Whitley and Katie Brown Whitley. In 2006, my father found out through DNA tests that he was not an O'Neal but died in 2009 not knowing who his father was. I've recently been able to discover that my grandfather was Homer Joseph through my DNA tests and stories from my uncle, my aunt, and many cousins.
