I'm adding information "slowly" to the 244 New York State Troopers memorials. the first class in 1917.

To the right is a virtual cemetery - there are 244 memorial of the first class of New York State Troopers, which was formed in 1917. The first Troopers were called "camp men", at Manlius, New York, in the summer of 1917, their first assignment was to police the New York State Fair.
After the NYS fair they were assigned to different Troops.
