I recently discovered this site after doing some family research of my own. I love getting outdoors , I love history, but mostly I love people’s stories. Every life has a story. Its fun imagining what someones story might be based on a headstone. The writer in me cant resist trying to fill in the blanks. Its fun to combine my hobby of getting exercise while helping a family fill in missing pieces of family history by snapping a photo of headstone. Walking through a cemetery is not morbid to me. Its a place of peaceful reflection and a reminder that life on earth is temporal but life on the other side is eternal.
