Both sides of my family ancestors are buried in Minnesota. Paternal ancestors immigrated from Co Kilkenny, Ireland in the 1850's and maternal ancestors immigrated later from Co Offaly and Co Sligo.
I am now recently managing the memorial for Catherine McCarthy 1786. She and her 4 children im. from Ireland and traveled up the Mississippi to farm in MN.
So far, I have added to my virtual cemetery family from Credit River,
Willmar, and Calvary cemetery.
I am very new to Find a Grave and so impressed with all the volunteer hours given to make remembering family possible.
