I started researching my genealogy using the FamilySearch program and that is how I came upon this site. I have also started using Ancestry, Fold3 & Newspapers.com for my full research experience.

Most of my father's family (Streeper, Pilger) is buried in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, New Jersey, along with a few other cemeteries in New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most of my mother's family (Waltman, Blackledge) is buried in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, etc.

I started linking my family together as far back as I could remember and have found many relatives that I didn't know. I had always seen their headstones & knew we were related, now I know how we are related. This ongoing project has been very time consuming, but also very rewarding.

In searching for obituaries on newspapers.com I have found many great articles. I have definitely been learning a lot about my family history and am very glad that I started this project.

I am not sure that there is anyone else left in my immediate family that would know as much as I do about my family, so I wanted to get this as far as I could, and hopefully one of my children, or other relative, will be interested enough to keep it going in the future.

If you have a relative that I am maintaining, then you are most likely a relative of mine or related in some way to my relative. If you see something that is incorrect or something that you would like to be included, please let me know and I will respond to your request.
