My personal guidelines....any memorials I manage will be researched and factual....they will not be customized to me...like this is my this or that.....and I will gladly transfer any of them to a closer relative.....Have a nice day :)

"I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it."-- Mark Twain

"The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones."-- Shakespeare

"The song is ended, but the melody lingers on."-- Irving Berlin

"The boundaries between life and death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where one ends and where the other begins?"-- Edgar Allen Poe

"Remember me as you pass by, as you are now so once was I. As I am now so wilst you be, prepare for death and follow me."--Tombstone of Henry Donahue, Caldwell County, NC

DEAR ANCESTOR
(Author Unknown)
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
So many years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
