Bio

A lifelong student of history and have been researching my family's history since the 1990's. I have been the beneficiary of many individuals that have dedicated their time to documenting their local cemeteries. Since I retired after 43 years to the DOD, I have decided to pay back to those that have helped me in my research, by helping others in their efforts to connect with their families.

I am currently concentrating my efforts on Albert Horton Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. However, I will try my best to accommodate any requests for my area of southeast Virginia.

I also visit two local civilian cemeteries, Parkview Memorial Park in Hampton, VA and Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, VA. The people that work there are good hard-working people that are helpful, however they are not keen on 3d party folks like Find-A-Grave. So, if you are interested in photos of burial markers from these cemeteries, I suggest that you call them and get the Section and Lot number. Then you can send me a message and I will find the marker, take the photo and post it to Find-A-Grave. If there are similar names nearby, I will photograph them as well and make sure they are posted as well.
