I am a retired teacher and now live back in my hometown of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My father Dr. Edgar Beaty did extensive genealogical research when he was living, and so did my maternal grandmother Elizabeth " Bess" Holtzendorff Adams. They have paved the way for me, making it easy to begin my own path of genealogical research and connecting with my ancestors. I am grateful to all those who have gone before me .
