Bio

My love of cemeteries started at a very young age. Some of my best childhood memories are of going with my grandparents to mow and visit Halleck, Slab Camp, and Matthew Cemeteries in Monongalia and Taylor Counties, WV.

I was born and live in Morgantown, WV, and have been researching my families and their history for over 20 years. Family lines include Dailey, Jackson, Reynolds, Powell, Henry, Grimm, Austin, Roderick, Costello, Trickett, and many others.

Special interest in Evans Cemetery (aka as Guthrie or Trippett Cemetery) and bringing it back to life and Matthew and Slab Camp (aka South Point) Cemeteries and the South Point Association.

I am excited to continue my efforts in gathering and compiling information, pictures, and the history of these cemeteries and their families and welcome anything one might offer.

I'm happy to help others if I can!
