Hello cousins! When my mom suddenly passed in 2015 she left me a hand drawn family tree that included 5 generations of Flanery's, Shepherd's, Boggs', Smith's, Maxwell's, and little clues to some famous folk in the family from decidedly notorious ex-confederate outlaws, to U.S. Presidents, and one of the most famous authors on the planet. It all seemed a little far-fetched to me, so I started digging.. and bless my mothers heart, she was right about all of it. Since then I have traced and worked and have had many wonderful cousins help me, so all I can do is pay it forward. I am bilingual and have multiple generations documented that founded both the United States, and Mexico, so I'm here to help.
