I was born and raised in Ottawa County, Zeeland, Michigan, where I still live. I love genealogy and have researched my family for 20 years taking over from my mother who also kept wonderful records of our family. I am fortunate that I live near the cemeteries where my family members are buried. My immediate family consists of Poest, Pyl, Ver Hage, Haveman and DeJonge. I am blessed to have known most of these very special people/families personally and am eager to make sure their information on the Find A Grave site is as accurate and complete as possible. I feel the more complete each memorial is the more valuable it is for families doing research. I am not out for numbers...only complete and accurate memorials. Most of my memorials consist of family, neighbors, and very dear friends. They are all people who I loved and knew well.
