I first started looking into genealogy in 2013, but I have had a renewed interest lately.
As of 7-29-20, I am looking for information for Hermann Bock, who was born May 12, 1859 and died Aug. 6, 1890. I have his Find A Grave memorial, but I don't know how he and his wife, Emilie Buerger Bock, came to be in Saline County. I presume they were working on the farm of her parents, Michael and Christina (I've also seen this as Katerina.)
He was my great-great grandfather, and their daughter was my great-grandmother, Caroline Augusta Sicht.
And how did they die? Emilie was dead less than two months after giving birth to my great-grandmother, so that was presumably due to childbirth or an illness exacerbated by that.
And why did Hermann die at age 31? Was it an accident or illness?

I am also looking for information about Augusta Bock Sicht, who was born in 1850 and died in 1886, also within a month or two of childbirth of her sixth child (buried on the farm in Gasconade County, location yet known to me). She is presumably from a different family of Bocks than Hermann and was also my great-great grandmother.
