My current project is clipping obituaries and articles from the "Texas Christian Advocate" and adding them to their findagrave pages.

My previous project was clipping obituaries and articles from Blanco County, Texas, newspapers, and photographing every headstone in the Blanco Cemetery, and adding them to the memorial pages here on findagrave. In doing this I had to add memorials when needed, so if you would like to manage the page for one of your ancestors that I have added, I will be glad to turn it over to you if you ask.

The newspaper editors made errors in spelling, dates, places, and relationships in many obituaries, so bear in mind that any information found here will need to be verified by a primary document. The obits are, however, a great place to start and sometimes tell more about the character of the person than primary documents do. It is my hope that having these articles here will be helpful to family historians who may not have access to our local digitized newspapers.
