My love for genealogy began in 2009 when my mother passed away. I began to build my family tree on ancestry and eventually discovered Find-A-Grave (many, many years later). Around 2014 I took an AncestryDNA test and it came back with some surprising results—my father was an NPE (Non Parent Expected). Through this, I gained a new passion for genetic genealogy and in 2021 I was fortunate enough to become a Search Angel with DNAngels. We help individuals locate their biological family through DNA.
