I stumbled upon Find a Grave when I was looking up information on my ancestors. I'm not big into family trees, but was curious about close relatives. After taking pictures of relatives' headstones for Find a Grave, I started fulfilling photo requests near me. Now that I'm retired, I find it relaxing walking in cemeteries and reading headstones. You can often tell how much someone was loved and is missed by what is on the headstones. Trying to find some grave locations can be like solving a puzzle. I find it interesting, while some friends find it a little morbid. To each his own. Besides this little hobby, my husband and I are avid animal lovers. We currently have two retired racing Greyhounds (Fuzz Face Cassie and PJ's Brett Favre) that we dote on beyond compare. People tell us if there is reincarnation, they want to come back as our pets! Our pets are our children.
